First Day of School Recap & Reminders

Today was a fantastic first day for our Flower Mound Bobcats for the 24-25 school year! Students and families started out the day being welcomed by the MacArthur High School cheerleading squad and taking pictures at many of the photo opportunities that were provided and decorated by our PTO! We saw laughter, hugs, and a few tears (mainly by parents😜) as the students entered their classrooms! The students filled the day learning all of the important rules and procedures put in place so that learning and achievement can occur throughout the year! Lunch, recess, music and PE all went off without a hitch! The day was a success in part to the Flower Mound staff’s prep, professionalism, and dedication to your students! End of the day walk up and drive up was a little chaotic and will continue to be tomorrow, however, when extended day begins next week, we will see the lines to pick up get smaller and the wait times lessen! We thank you for your patience! We kindly want to remind you to let your child’s teacher know how they are getting picked up so your student will be in the correct place and remember, no parking on Flower Mound Road!
