Dear FMS Families:

Fall Break is upon us, and we had an amazing time at our Bingo night put on by our PTO. I wanted to reach out and give you some updates about our arrival/dismissal procedures when we return from Fall Break. Things will change as we will be starting classes in our new state of the art Saferoom/Early Childhood Center for grades P3, PK, and Kindergarten.

Click on the blue link above "Updated Arrival/Dismissal Procedures" to see a breakdown of the changes, but please pay attention to the major differences moving forward. (1). ECC students (P3, PK, and KG are morning drive-up ONLY). There is no walk-up for ECC students in the mornings. This is a safety procedure for the time being. There is after school dismissal walk-up for ECC students at the breezeway library door where 1st grade was. (2). 1st grade arrival and dismissal walk-up are being moved to Mrs. Crow’s old room side door on the east of the building. This is their future classrooms and ECC is using the library now. Please read the overview carefully and reach out or ask a staff member if you have any questions.

If an ECC student is tardy or coming in from an appt, they must check in with Mrs. Coy BEFORE they go the new building to drop their student off. It is the only way for entrance to the building.

We will work through these changes together as we continue to progress and modernize our educational experience at FMS. Still the best….Not like the rest!!
